As the seasons come and go, so do wedding favors
. Every wedding season manufacturers and retailers everywhere come out with new favors - new styles, new (and better) quality, and just all around better products. If you take the time to look back on the past years, you definitely notice a drastic change in popular wedding themes and favors: at one point calla lilies were at the top of the list, last year damask and Fleur de Lis patterns were trending, and this season vintage-inspired favors seem to be working their way into the wedding industry and bride's hearts. But change is good, because with the new favors, you do get better quality and products. Years ago it was high class to have a favor box filled with Jordan Almonds for your guests, and today you have a million other options that were unheard of years ago: mini hand soaps, top-quality glass coasters, eco-friendly products like plantable seed cards, luggage tags and even towel cakes! We're barely two months into the new year and already have a ton of new products up on our site. Here's a sneak peek of what's in store for all you brides-to-be this wedding season.
Vintage Themed Weddings & Vintage Inspired Favors
If you check out our new wedding favors section, you'll notice a lot of vintage-inspired favors. Our miniature mailbox tins, bronze finish key bottle opener, trinket trays, and typewriter place card holders are all vintage or Victorian-inspired. And we've encountered a handful of brides looking for favors to coordinate with their vintage themed wedding. We love the vintage-inspired stuff and can't wait to see what else comes out on the market!Practical Wedding Favors
Practical wedding favors have always been - and still are - popular. After all, wedding favors cost money and money is tight for a lot of couples in this economy! Couples want to give their guests something useful, rather than a teeny-tiny candle votive that will be thrown away or forgotten. So you'll see that more and more favors are useful. Barware wedding favors are especially popular. Along with the forever popular bottle stopper, bottle openers are becoming increasingly popular too, as well as corkscrews. We have a really unique wine bottle shaped corkscrew that brides are practically drooling over.Eco-Friendly Wedding Favors
A couple of years ago the wedding industry started seeing a lot more eco-friendly favors hit the market. Today there are not only people everywhere who are going green, but brides too! Even if you're not having a green wedding, eco-friendly favors are great to give. Not only are they good for the environment, but a lot of them are useful, and so adorable! We have a really cute heart-shaped cheese board that's brand new and made of bamboo, a biodegradable material. There's also a lot more plantable seed favors and cards coming out, which are not only environmentally friendly, but fun for your guests to plant and grow.Lovebird Wedding Favors
Little Things loves the lovebird theme just as much as brides do. The amount of new lovebird-inspired wedding favors we have is enormous: miniature bird cages, plantable seed cards, bottle stoppers, coasters and even bird house favor boxes are some of the new products that have hit our site. The favors are absolutely gorgeous! And we have a lot of new lovebird wedding accessories too.Murano-Inspired Glass Wedding Favors
Our Murano glass favors started becoming popular among brides around last year. Murano favors are very modern and trendy, with an art-deco style and a lot of individuality. Every Murano product is handmade, so no two items are the same. What started off as a few products is now practically an epidemic. Our Murano section includes everything from bottle stoppers and openers, letter openers, purse hooks, cake servers, key chains, bookmarks, wine charms, corkscrews, place card holders and frames, candle holders, mirrors and even salt and pepper shakers. Whew!
We're hoping for a really fun 2011 wedding season. Be sure to check out all the new wedding favors
we have to offer!
