Silver foil covered jordan almonds come in bulk packages of 10 pound boxes. Traditionally, five (5) jordan almonds / confetti are included in the wedding favor or bonbonniere to represent health, wealth, fertility, happiness and longevity. A classic form of dragée, they are often used as wedding favors due to the "bitter" almonds and the "sweet" sugar representing bittersweet married life. Fresh almonds have a bittersweet taste, which represents life. The sugarcoating is added with the hope that the newlyweds' life will be more sweet than bitter.
