Thank you notes are necessary to thank people for their generous thoughts and gifts. They take so here are a few tips to help make them easier:
- Type your address labels: I have a master address list for my Christmas cards, and I used it for wedding invitations and thank you notes. One pack of 300 labels is usually less than $20 and it saves you TONS of time. I had a list prepared based on my RSVPs and attached them to envelopes. They were half done before I said “I do.”
- Picture cards: You can buy pre-printed thank you cards with a wedding picture so all you have to do is pop them in the envelopes.
- Place settings: The restaurant I used for my daughter’s christening required assigned seating. I bought blank thank you cards from Target, butterfly & flowers scrapbook stickers and purple pens. One side had the attendee and their table number and the back had a thank you note.
- Donation notes: My sister in law and her husband had a great idea – they pre-printed their thank you notes at each place setting – it thanked us for our gift and said they gave a donation to the local rescue squad instead of buying & mailing notes.
