If you have received the error message "This transaction can not be processed" when trying to place your order with us, you received this message because the address on file with your credit card did not exactly match the billing address that you entered to place your order.
When you attempted to place your order, the information is securely sent (via SSL encryption) to your financial institution. Your financial institution places the funds for the order into "authorization" status (a temporary hold of the funds in reserve for your order) and sends to our payment processor a message whether the information entered into our system is OK or if it is a non-match (Address Verification and Your 3 or 4 digit CVV security code).
If either the Address Verification or CVV security codes do not match what your financial institution has on file, our payment processor will reject your order and generate the error message: "This transaction can not be processed".
This is a security measure for both our customers and our business to ensure that the use of your card is secure.
However, your financial institution may still "hold" via an authorization the funds for your order, because ultimately it is up to our payment processor/gateway to allow an order to pass through our security measures.
If your financial institution has placed an authorization on your account, this is usually temporary and will automatically "fall off" your account within 3 to 5 days (this varies by institution). Unfortunately, since our payment processor rejected the order, we do not see the authorization from your bank nor do we have an order to void.
If you have an authorization on your account that has not dropped off after 3 to 5 days, you may have your bank call us and we will alert them that we do not have an order on file for you.
