If you love the look of wedding banners and personalized wedding signs but aren't sure what to do with them, here are five great tips to use them:
Pre-Wedding Parties: At your engagement party, everyone will want to know when the "big day" is! Surprise everyone by announcing the date on your banner - plus you can reuse it again the day of your wedding. You could also use banners to announce its a bachlorette party, decorate the bridal shower venue or as signage for the rehearsal dinner.
To Mark Your Wedding Location: If you are holding a reception outdoors or in a venue with multiple rooms for parties, you can mark the entrance to your event with a custom wedding banner to direct guests to the proper location of the party. Design your wedding banner with a coordinating theme or colors of your wedding and be sure to use the same names you used on your wedding invitations so guests know where the party is at!
To Direct Guests Around Your Event: If you are having a ceremony and reception in the same venue, you can easily mark these areas with banners. Alternatively, you can point guests in the right directions for food, drinks and the restrooms!
As Photo Props or Backdrops: Hang it in your photo booth for guest pictures. Have your flower girl and ring bearer hold it while your photographer shoots wedding party photos. Hang it across the backdrops for red-carpet themed weddings. Just make sure the wedding banner you select has a matte finish or the flash from the cameras will bounce off of it.
Announcing the Newlyweds: Your flower girl and ring bearer can carry it down the aisle together, you can hang it on your honeymoon door, tack it to the back of the limo or get away car instead of the old-fashioned signs or cans. Hang it from the newlywed's new home to announce it to the neighbors. With so many uses, wedding banners are truly an all in one wedding decoration!
